Military Schools in Kentucky for Troubled Teens

Parenting a troubled teen can deplete your emotional resources; however, placing him in a full time therapeutic facility feels intimidating. In actuality, such programs can be the best thing you can do for your child when he needs more intensive care than you can give him at home. One of the first options parents research is military schools in Kentucky. However, we encourage parents to consider a facility a little further from home as we have found that more teens thrive when they are placed in a completely unique environment. Some of the reasons for this are:

·         A chance to be immersed in new and challenging surroundings where teens can practice positive coping and decision making skills free of the triggers and negative associations they may be dealing with on a daily basis.

·         An opportunity to spend some healthy time apart in order to focus on the individual issues and challenges that are contributing to poor communication. Temporary separation can be very valuable when laying new groundwork for the relationship, but is extremely difficult to manage when daily interaction in the same household is inevitable.

·         Full time programs offer respite for emotionally exhausted parents while their son receives daily coaching and guidance from trained counselors devoted to helping him turn his life around in a secure and comfortable facility.

More troubled boys have found success at Liahona Academy throughout the last 15 years than a military school in Kentucky. Located in southern Utah, teens participate in a proven program of academics, therapy and healthy outdoor activities in a combination that is unique to them. Each boy has the most ideal setting in order to overcome his individual challenges and gain the tools he needs to make healthier future choices.

This video briefly illustrates how the program at Liahona Academy is far more likely to help your son succeed than any you might find in Kentucky. We recognize that you are going through an emotional and difficult time and our goal is to help you find a solution that is comfortable and effective for your entire family.

As you can see, Liahona Academy is dedicated to helping struggling boys overcome every kind of challenge and become happy and healthy individuals. Please, call us today at (800) 675-8101 for a free consultation to determine whether the benefits of our program are a good match for the needs of your son. We have helped successfully guide thousands of parents from military schools in Kentucky toward a better therapeutic option for almost 15 years. No matter where your home is, we know that we can help you too.
