Boot Camps in Montana for Troubled Teens

Deciding to send your teen to a full time therapeutic program is a large emotional and financial commitment. You want to be sure that the facility you choose is both safe and able to help your teen sort out his problems. While many parents feel they are limited to only boot camps in Montana, we have found that more teens show greater improvement when they are attend a program a little further from home.  Some of the reasons for this include :

·        A challenging environment where teens can start over with a clean slate. Each boy has the opportunity to work on positive life changes without the burden of old triggers and associations.

·        Teens and their parents are able to get a healthy amount of temporary distance while they each address their own challenges and issues. Time apart can be helpful for reestablishing the relationship, but it is nearly impossible to attain while living in the same household.

·        Rehabilitation programs allow some much needed respite for parents while their son resides in an environment dedicated to helping him work out his issues and become a healthier individual.

These are just a few of the reasons why Liahona Academy has been a more effective destination for troubled boys than a boot camp in Montana. Liahona Academy is located in southern Utah and has gained a reputation for quality and success over the last 15 years. The unique combination of academics, therapy and healthy play in Liahona Academy’s program allows each teen to practice healthy balance. Trained therapists and counselors work individually with the boys to ensure that their plan of care is specific to them.
